After drinking any of Kombucha Town's seven delicious flavors, we've noticed increased energy, heightened alertness, and an overall sense of wellbeing. We attribute it to this high quality bacteria produced during fermentation, as well as the combination of caffeine, antioxidants, and the other organic powerhouses we add.

We recommend consuming your kombucha within 3-5 days of opening. Always keep it refrigerated. One thing to remember: once you open it, the fizzy essence will begin to fade.
Kombucha is best stored refrigerated, opened or unopened. However, Kombucha Town offers 3 shelf-stable flavors: Lavender, Guayasa, and Jasmine. They'll remain safe to consume for up to 365 days in a cool, dry place.
Kombucha Town products are not pasteurized and contain trace amounts of alcohol and caffeine. We recommend waiting until you are no longer pregnant and are finished breastfeeding to enjoy kombucha again.
The only potential issues with drinking too much kombucha would be “digestive issues”. Your body is a delicately balanced ecosystem. Kombucha is a powerful thing. Enjoy one to two servings per day to avoid tipping things out of balance and discovering what we mean by “digestive issues”.
We don’t recommend children drinking kombucha due to a lack of research on the effects of kombucha on children.
We were the first kombucha brewery to package our products in 16oz aluminum cans. These cans are recyclable, lightweight, and space efficient for improved packing and distribution. The cans are manufactured in the U.S. This keeps our dollars in the local economy. We believe cans are the best single serving package option for you.
Our facility is designed for simplicity and efficiency. Our power is 100% offset by renewable energy through Puget Sound Energy. The brewing system is fired by clean burning natural gas. The only waste from our production process is spent organic tea, which makes great compost!
From day one of our operations, we have held the standard of our success to the triple bottom line, which measures profit, people, and planet.
Yes, please! We package our kombucha in reusable growlers and recycle-friendly aluminum cans. Our operations strive to produce maximum community involvement and minimal environmental impact.
Kombucha is created by millions of microorganisms coming together to form a symbiotic colony of bacteria and yeast (the SCOBY!). We add this SCOBY to sweetened tea and the culture feeds on the sugars during fermentation, producing alcohol and amino acids. During this process, the combination matures into what you know as kombucha.
The exact origins of kombucha are not known. Some say China. Some say Russia. It may be 200 years old or as ancient as 2,000 years old. One thing is for certain, though. When you drink Kombucha Town, you are drinking an elixir, a tradition of the people, and one that strengthens our communities from the inside out.
